Support Worker for a 7 year old boy who has autism, living in the Bishop Auckland area - Bishop Auckland - DL14.
We are looking to employ a Support Worker to support a 7 year old boy who has autism, GDD learning disability, and is non-verbal.
Hours / Wage: Hours are variable, with a current hourly rate of £12 per hour.
Hours are usually available during school holidays, and weekends may also be an option.
Key Weeks: 15 – 20 hours per week available for:
Two weeks in April, Five weeks from 18th July. Duties: The main role of the worker will be to take the child out to various activities. He is a happy and active child who enjoys outdoor play, especially play parks and swings. He also enjoys baking, soft play, trampolining, and engaging in activities with disability groups. We are looking for someone who can provide a positive, caring environment for our son, helping him to stay engaged and enjoy his activities.
Additional Requirements/Information: - Driver with own car is essential. Parent will arrange to pay mileage privately. - Experience in dealing with children with autism/learning disabilities is preferred. - Enhanced DBS will be required; the employer will cover the cost. #J-18808-Ljbffr
