we are looking for you! About the role: You will provide support to adults who have moderate to severe learning disabilities, behavioural challenges, and autism. The role involves providing day-to-day support with daily living tasks, activities, and making full use of community opportunities. Every day is different as a support worker; you might be swimming, socialising, or supporting someone to find a college, learn to hoover, or work their laptop, but whatever you do, the people you support are always at the heart of your working day. As part of the care and support team, you will assist in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to those living within the service. Successful applicants will be responsible for: Supporting people with day-to-day activities. Supporting personal and practical skills to enhance independent living. Reporting and recording key aspects of care and developing your professional skills as part of an ongoing development plan. Managing complex behaviours that may challenge. Providing support and engagement with a range of activities.
