Full Time Our client, a well-respected charity dedicated to helping prevent homelessness and supporting victims of abuse are looking for a Support Worker to join their team. The role will include providing support to clients to help enable them to achieve positive life changes and to lead more sustainable lifestyles. Synopsis of duties: Supporting a caseload of clients who are homeless/rough sleepers Facilitating client meetings, completing and updating individual support plans in order to help clients achieve their goals Completing and reviewing client’s assessments, including risk assessments Assisting in the designing and delivering of inhouse support provisions to help achieve successful outcomes Signposting clients to external support services in order to further support with complex needs Respecting the diversity of other people’s culture, faith and practice Ensuring practice is in line with relevant legislation and complying with safeguarding procedures and policies Essential Requirements: Must have experience working with homeless and vulnerable client groups Experience conducting needs and risk assessments and support planning A fully enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service Supporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency.
