About the Role Role: Mental Health Support Worker Location: Newquay Pay: from £13.70 to £19.89 depending on shift and role We are seeking dedicated and skilled Mental Health Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital support to children and adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence. What You’ll Do Your role will involve delivering both clinical and social care, customised to the specific needs of each individual. Your responsibilities will include: Personal Care and Support: Assisting clients with daily tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being Challenging Behaviour Support: Managing and responding to challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism Crisis Intervention: Providing critical support during times of crisis, helping clients navigate difficult moments Promoting Independence: Empowering clients to live as independently as possible, building their confidence and skills Medication Support: Ensuring that clients receive their medication safely and on time Specialist Clinical Care: Addressing complex clinical needs with expertise and compassion With the support of our dedicated regional teams and innovative technology, you will make a significant difference in your clients’ lives every day. We provide specialist clinical training and ongoing support to help you grow your career in the direction you choose. What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you should have: A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility The right to work in the UK Prior experience working with clients who have mental health challenges (preferred, but not essential as full training is provided) A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle Why Join Newcross Healthcare?
