EN369-440 Job Description

Support Worker, Personal Advisor, Enfield Council, Childrens Leaving Care Team - Must be a Support Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Support Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The responsibilities will include: Working alongside Social workers with young adults, previously Looked After by the Local Authority between the ages of 18 – 24 years old. Holding a case load of up to 25 young people, office based work, visits, and attending meetings in the local community and outside the borough. Supporting young people through the transition of being a Looked after Child to living independently, working in partnership with education, training, employment agencies, and housing and health provisions. Providing high quality and comprehensive support to the service user and empowering them to plan, work towards, and achieve their care and health outcomes. Contributing to efficient service delivery as an individual and as part of a team, in accordance with local policies, procedures, and legislation. 35 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). Immediate Start. 3 Month Temporary Contract. The successful candidate will need to hold an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, have a current CRB, and be a car driver.
