The ideal candidate would be bubbly and outgoing character with a can do attitude, to provide support for the individual and promote his daily living alongside another member of the team on a 2 to 1 basis.The person you will be supporting lives within the family property which has ample space and designed with his needs at heart. The property even has its own hydro pool to assist with rehabilitation!The client has complex care needs and brain injury due to an accident. The client is looking for someone to support him to be involved in day to day activities, therapies and assisting with daily care needs. He likes music, swimming, chatting and football. The client is an enthusiastic person with a sense of humor. He needs someone to assist with all daily living goals and care to suite his needs, whilst ensuring his dignity, safety and well being is maintained.He requires full assistance with promoting personal care/hygiene, personal safety and well being and supporting a healthy & nutritional balanced diet.He requires assistance with administrating medication. You will also be required to write detailed notes on his day to day activities, care and healthcare input.Previous experience working within care and with complex needs/brain injury is desirable, but full training and support will be given. The successful candidate will work alongside the support team on a 6 week rolling rota. 28 hours per week (6 week rolling rota with rest periods)Weekday & Night rate £12.50 per hr Weekend & Night rate £15.00 per hrBank Holiday Rate time and a half Sleep-in rate Weekday £77.50 per shiftSleep-in rate Weekend £77.50 per shiftDue to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.Required to hold a Full clean driving licence, for insurance purposesDesirable to have experience or knowledge with behaviors that may challenge Bush & Co are acting as agents on behalf of our client.
