Here at Lifeways in Blythe Bridge, we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally, you will have previous experience in Care/Support Work; however, if you are new to the role and have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us. This Service is a modern dorma bungalow where people are supported to live happy and independent lives. The house features five bedrooms, one of which is used as a sleep-in room for overnight support. Life at this service is suitable for people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions. There are four ladies living here, aged between 35 and 60. They enjoy doing things together, going out for meals, trips to the theatre, and shopping. The atmosphere at the home is very homely, and the people who live here are encouraged to do as much for themselves as possible. They always have home-cooked meals and love cooking for each other. This Service is in a pleasant residential area in Blythe Bridge, which is located between Stoke and Uttoxeter. Nearby there are a few local shops, a supermarket, and a pub. Longton is a short drive away and offers a range of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Stoke-on-Trent is also close by and has more shops, leisure facilities, and heritage attractions. LWGVD
