We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Supporter Care Assistant to join a well-established children's charity in the heart of London's West End. Role Overview: As a Supporter Care Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for the charity's supporters, donors, and fundraisers. You will help maintain strong relationships with supporters, ensuring they feel valued, informed, and appreciated for their contributions. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you'll be able to directly contribute to the charity's impact on the lives of children and families in need. General Responsibilities: To be responsible for the oversight of database activity, ensuring robust processes are in place and information is handled efficiently and accurately in adherence to all database regulations. To help create a robust Raisers Edge stewardship process for use both internally and externally within the commercial team. To ensure all supporter queries are handled professionally and that supporters are thanked in a timely manner. To ensure that invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, with queries dealt with promptly and effectively. To ensure all invoices are appropriately coded and authorised before passing them to the finance team for payment. To support campaign processing with database and finance processes. Oversight and preparation of the fundraising batching process and the imports to upload supporter information onto Raisers Edge. Assist the team in creating RE reporting queries to allow for better analysis of supporter and financial information. To monitor RE/finance/statutory inboxes and deal with queries, forwarding them to the correct individual. To create RE reminders and future actions to maintain departmental efficiency. Support the Gift Aid submissions process. Preparing data and reports to allow finance to reconcile donations received with account records. To be in regular contact with the finance team regarding fundraising income, ensuring it is recorded correctly. What the client is looking for: Data entry experience and a basic understanding of financial processes. Experience importing and batching on Raiser's Edge. Experience processing donations for a charity. Ability to learn new skills and work on own initiative with minimal guidance. Able to manage a workload often with challenging and competing deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels, both inside the organisation and externally, both verbally and in writing. A high attention to detail with experience of inputting data accurately. Ability to liaise with stakeholders in an efficient and timely manner. Experience dealing with confidential information with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
