Overview: The survey engineer is responsible for electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment used for the acquisition of geophysical, hydrographic, metallurgical, and oceanographic data. The position will include both site and office working.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of equipment for pre-survey mobilisation, including setting up the survey suite in the workshop and testing its operation. Packing survey equipment ready for transportation to site, including packing notes for all containers, with serial numbers and descriptions. Mobilising the equipment on site and assisting in the acquisition of data, and de-mobilising the equipment at the end of the survey. Carrying out maintenance and repair of survey equipment on site. Upon return from site, ensuring that all equipment is checked, labelled, and returned to the stores in accordance with the workshop procedures. Maintenance of survey equipment, including installing software/firmware updates, calibration, and specific tooling. Assisting with training of new personnel. Keeping the workshop and stores clean and tidy. Adhering to EGSi HSE and QA Management Systems and Policies. Commitment to safe working practices. Additional duties that the company may reasonably require.
