Full Time, 37 hours per week, Mon – Fri Who we are The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is an organisation dedicated to honouring and caring for the graves and memorials of servicemembers who died in the two World Wars. The work of the commission is not only out on the field, but in our head office too, which contributes to the meaningful commemoration of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. What You'll Be Doing Join us preserving and managing infrastructure, by running a program that surveys and maintains our globally built assets. You'll coordinate condition surveys, support surveyors around the world, and provide guidance and training. You’ll conduct meetings and deliver reports on survey data to shape decision-making. Beyond that, you'll provide advice on conservation, repair techniques, and structural matters. You'll also work with internal stakeholders and assist in crafting strategies and policies relating to the conservation of historic structures. What You Need to Have Expertise of methods and techniques used to repair and maintain structures Experience undertaking building surveys of historic structures, including providing technical solutions and accurate costs Good IT knowledge Knowledge of health and safety legislation relating to construction management Ability to communicate to a diverse and multi-cultural audience What we offer 25 days annual leave, rising by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 Paid public holidays and paid office closure between Christmas and New Year Flexible working arrangements Generous Pension Scheme, with CWGC contributing up to 15% Life Assurance Employee Assistance Programme Cycle To Work & Electric Vehicle schemes
