Dec. 16, 2024 POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Office of Survey Research Call Center Supervisor, the Survey Research Interviewer is responsible for conducting interviews via telephone by reading survey questions from a computer screen and entering the answers into the survey system. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct interviews by telephone and accurately enter responses to survey questions into the survey system. Follow survey research procedures and guidelines to obtain high quality information. Persuade reluctant respondents to take the survey over the phone. Maintain confidentiality of respondent information according to HIPAA, University, and the Office of Survey Research guidelines. Participate in quality assurance processes for all tasks. Participate in on-the-job training and support other staff members as directed. Comply with established University and Office of Survey Research policies and procedures. Perform other duties as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. 0-6 months prior experience necessary. Must have a quiet space to work in with WiFi connectivity to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Good typing skills. Must be available to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 6-12 months call center experience. Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).
