The Role As a Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in managing project financials, ensuring budgets are met, and working with clients to maintain exceptional service. With a focus on bespoke joinery, you'll oversee projects from start to finish, contributing to their reputation for quality and excellence.

What We're Looking For This is a key role within the company, requiring a candidate with strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will: Be methodical, with strong numerical abilities and an eye for detail. Strive for accuracy and quality, taking a conscientious approach to work. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to think on their feet. Demonstrate good negotiation skills and professionalism. Be proficient in IT, with advanced Excel skills. Have a joinery background - essential for understanding the intricacies of our projects. Be approachable, confident, and able to build strong client relationships. Have the ability to manage clients and identify sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing project financials and preparing initial cash flows. Analysing quotations from installation teams and ensuring material/subcontract expenditure aligns with budgets. Identifying, pricing, and justifying variations or changes to project scopes. Preparing and submitting monthly payment applications. Promptly agreeing on final accounts upon project completion. Resolving contractual and commercial issues efficiently. Managing and chasing outstanding retentions in line with subcontract orders. Compiling and submitting fortnightly CVRs to the management team. Keeping clients informed with up-to-date project accounts. Collaborating closely with the project delivery team to maximise profitability.
