Competitive The Role Our client has an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the sustainable built environment to join their Building LCA team. You will be based in their London office and join a team of multidisciplinary sustainability consultants who bring their cross-industry experience and in-depth knowledge to find bespoke solutions for both the corporate and built environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the delivery of sustainability strategies and services, including: BREEAM LCA, BREEAM LCC, Whole Life Carbon, Pre-Demolition Audit, Operational Waste Management Plan for new and existing buildings Develop Circular economy statements Perform detailed calculations to find material flows, greenhouse gas emissions footprints and other environmental metrics as may be required Prepare detailed LCA reports, including data visualizations, interpretations, and recommendations for improvement Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate LCA findings into the building design and construction process Consult clients to determine expectations and achieve key deliverables Promote and engage commercial clients on the merits of LCA and circular economy principles Skills and Qualifications Have a passion for sustainability and the sustainable built environment A degree in a relevant field such as construction, engineering, or architecture Deep understanding of LCA standards and methodologies for assessing environmental impacts across a building's life cycle Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to building LCA Knowledge of using various LCA software such as eTool, OneClick LCA, or OpenLCA Familiarity with green building rating systems (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) and environmental regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team A swift problem-solver with initiative Ability to evaluate complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Understanding of the sustainability challenges that organizations face in today's climate Benefits Competitive salary with potential for a discretionary bonus based on company profitability and performance Enhanced annual leave entitlement after two years of service Paid Birthday time off Paid Christmas time off (3 days between Christmas and New Year) Hybrid Working Budget for training, learning, and development programs to support professional growth Possibility to work from abroad for two weeks each year Health insurance including health assessments, guaranteed online GP appointment within 48 hours, physiotherapy, mental health support, wellness services with perks such as monthly cinema tickets, discounted gym membership, and cashback on healthy food Weekly after work yoga Family-friendly benefits such as enhanced maternity and paternity leave pay 8 hours or an 'Eight Day' per month for training, development courses, team building, or volunteering Celebration of achievements with organized socials To Apply If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for this reputable company, please do not hesitate to apply.
