Sustainability Consultant
to join our team, focusing on providing exceptional ESG support to one of our largest infrastructure customers. This position requires a deep understanding of ESG principles, exceptional customer management skills, and the ability to deliver customised solutions that align with the customer’s goals and regulatory requirements. Customer Relationship Management Serve as the primary ESG liaison for the customer and Speedy operational team, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key client stakeholders. A technical expert promoting innovation in areas of sustainability. Provide specialist advice and guidance on all aspects of sustainability performance. Be aware of customer and market needs to evolve and maintain necessary competencies. Sustainability Initiatives and Implementation Ensure alignment of Sustainability initiatives with the customer’s business objectives. Prepare, monitor, and deliver sustainability initiatives, providing progress reports throughout the year. Utilise Speedy’s ESG tools & software to report KPI’s on ESG contract performance. Support and advise the customer on technical subjects. Deliver contract PAS2080:2023 conformity aligned to Speedy Hires carbon management system. Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and workshops for the client. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required Proficiency in project management and organisational skills. Knowledge of ESG principles, frameworks, standards, regulations, and legislation. Excellent understanding of the regulatory landscape. Degree level qualification in a science-based topic, economics, or sustainability. Experience in Sustainability, ideally within the building environment sector.
