Location:

Leeds, Manchester, London or Bristol

We are currently seeking to recruit an individual with a genuine passion for sustainability to support this strategic growth opportunity. You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience of working in sustainability (or related field), ideally within a consultancy environment. An understanding of commercial property is desirable, but a RICS qualification is not essential. You will work in the technical side of the Sustainability Consulting team (as opposed to Advisory) and work closely with a variety of commercial real estate clients to provide advice on asset performance with a focus on actions to reduce energy use intensity and optimise building operations to achieve net-zero. You will understand the importance of asset optimisation to delivering ESG strategies and net-zero, advising clients on key sustainability topics.

Core Responsibilities: Practical experience of delivering BREEAM Assessments, developing pre-assessments, collecting evidence, and writing statements for submission, ideally a BREEAM Assessor. Working knowledge of building certification standards such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel or ISO. Demonstrable experience of operating within the commercial property sector. Experience in routine reporting internally and externally for client stakeholders. Clear and evident passion to drive sustainability within the built environment. Strong verbal and graphic communication skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment and also work individually. Highly motivated and self-assured individual with drive for self-development. Skills & Experience: Experience of conducting advanced data analytics including energy modelling and life-cycle analysis (LCA) using programmes such as IES and/or One Click. Practical experience of operating and utilising online data management platforms. Demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of ESG strategies within the built environment including, target setting, data analysis, legislative compliance, and auditing. Familiarity with climate risk and scenario analysis tools.
