HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Sustainability Executive to work for a global foodservice wholesaler and distributor. The role will be focused on supporting the sustainability team in a customer focused position, ensuring policies and criteria are met. This opportunity provides huge room for growth and collaboration. Main Responsibilities:

Collaboratively and proactively engage with the internal account management team to ensure all products on the customers' contract are aligned to the relevant policy target and if not, provide clear guidance and instruction on what needs to be achieved to make the product work. The role will be a dedicated ESG contact responsible for key customer reporting and engagement. Manage all suppliers on SEDEX ensuring all suppliers associated with key contracts are either SEDEX registered or are risk assessed in a different way. All SEDEX registered suppliers to have up to date SAQ's and all high-risk suppliers to have a SMETA audit every 2 years. Following up on any non-conformances from SMETA audits with suppliers. Agree and create key ESG related risk assessments and ways of working aligned to capabilities and data, whilst ensuring key policy areas are covered. Collate, critique and present key data to key customers' monthly, quarterly and annual meetings aligned to the purpose of each meeting. Ensuring any high-risk issues or challenges are always communicated appropriately to the customer. Regular engagement with suppliers on any changes to our or our key customer policies ensuring the supplier can meet the policy and provide relevant data. Ensure all required key metric reporting data from suppliers is received in full and on time to be able to then create the formal submission of these data points to key customers for their publicly required reporting to external bodies such as the BBFAW. Successful management of projects on multiple timeframes, mindful of reporting deadlines and preparing reports for several areas for key customers to meet their sustainability objectives and commitments, particularly around new product development and alignment to policy. Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:

Strong organisation skills, to stay focused and prioritised amidst multiple projects. Confident communicator, able to talk to senior customer representatives. Degree-level educated or equivalent experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills. A natural curiosity and commitment to continual learning, as this field is constantly evolving.
