leading retailer

on the search for

Sustainability Manager.

This is a perm role based in

London. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring the organisation sets and meets its environmental goals by developing green policies. Drive initiatives that emphasize the proper use of environmental resources with a focus on sustaining these resources for future generations both internally and through our supply chain. Measure and monitor the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from our operations and supply chain. Monitor the amount of waste generated and the percentage that is recycled or diverted to landfills. Evaluate energy consumption and deficiency across all our businesses. Assess the sustainability practices of suppliers and ensure transparency throughout the supply chain. Understand the environmental impact of our business and put in place measures to reduce year on year. Develop and implement environmentally conscious practices. What are we looking for? Relevant qualification or equivalent business experience in sustainability is required. A depth of knowledge and passion for sustainability, with subject matter expertise in a range of environmental areas including Net Zero pathways and Waste & Circularity. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence and secure buy-in. Demonstrable experience of leading sustainability changes in complex environments. Experience of developing and tracking sustainability performance indicators, along with sustainability data management and analysis. Understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements. Help develop the ESG strategy with key stakeholders. Work with various stakeholders to ensure targets around D&I. Ownership of the Environmental Policy. Salary is up to

£65k
