Supplier Sustainability Manager , your role will be responsible for our supplier sustainability programme, ensuring that those businesses from which we purchase align with our sustainability journey and business values, and so can support our sustainability goals. This will involve managing the process of supplier engagement, setting targets, and working with suppliers to ensure that they are delivered. The role covers all Group procurement. Job Description Applications will close on January 17th, 2025 In your role as Supplier Sustainability Manager, you will be... Setting up and managing our supplier sustainability programme, including building our sustainability requirements for different supply chains and suppliers and ensuring that all materially relevant supply chains are included in the programme. Managing the GK Engage platform, ensuring we have the material suppliers from our supply chains uploaded to the platform and supporting Procurement teams with information and analysis for their engagement with suppliers. Liaison with and management of our third-party delivery partner for the engagement platform, working collaboratively with them to deliver the requirements of the platform and holding them to account for deliverables. Engaging key suppliers on sustainability to understand their strategies, targets and progress and how this aligns with our sustainability requirements, including Net Zero transition for our Scope 3 emissions. Managing engagement with suppliers for other matters as required, including but not limited to Modern Slavery and new legal requirements (e.g. deforestation regulation). Supporting Procurement teams on the sustainability implications of selecting different suppliers in sourcing decisions. Supporting Procurement teams with technical knowledge. Managing the production of knowledge and upskilling materials on sustainability for suppliers that allows them to better meet our supplier sustainability requirements. What you’ll bring… Technical/ professional experience operating in a procurement/ buying/ supply chain role in a large organisation. Experience of sustainability issues in procurement. Experience gained in a procurement sustainability role in a similarly complex supply chain preferred. Experience in managing across multiple product categories. BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu thereof. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Clean current driving licence. IT literate - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office. #LI-RS1
