As Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing tactical and operational initiatives that improve the circular economy. You will also be a key contributor to our overall roadmap. In practice, the candidate will work with local FC, Operations, and field compliance teams to drive improvement in Circular Economy - focusing on waste management. The candidate will also have close interaction with central teams (EAP, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, PR/ER, Tech, WW Sustainability, and Engineering) and external stakeholders (Waste Vendors).

The preferred candidate should be based in the UK and have experience testing and accelerating the roll-out of waste reduction initiatives. The candidate must possess strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to promote consensus across multiple internal and external stakeholders, as well as a pragmatic results-oriented approach. The candidate will be comfortable with data, dive deep into problem-solving, along with the ability to thrive in a technical environment. The candidate will be motivated, agile, and have project management skills and will have an interest in enabling us to identify and promote sustainable opportunities at Amazon. Finally, the candidate will show good judgment and continually improve their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business, its platform, and relevant technologies.

This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. Key Responsibilities:

Own CF Strategy and Execution of a comprehensive Circular Economy Program focusing on Inventory Disposition and Waste for Amazon’s FCs. Bridge the strategy with execution; design new processes, SOPs, and training material. Execute on the floor. Identification, analysis, design, costing, and project scoping of inventory disposition projects. Identify and Evaluate new technology and processes to improve inventory disposition. Define programs and metrics and ensure EU goals are achieved. Secure buy-in from Amazon leadership for piloting & large-scale deployment across Amazon’s EU network. Communicate and present to key leaders through MBR/QBRs. Prepare written analysis of findings and recommendations for various building-related sustainability solutions. Analyze and communicate the financial impact of projects and initiatives. Manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously. Build relationships with external suppliers and partners, and with internal stakeholders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in program or project management. Experience with Excel. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology. Experience in MS Access and SQL. Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
