An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of The Lanarkshire Joint Investigative Interview Team. The team operates pan Lanarkshire. Interviewers will be located at Blantyre Police Station working with the current Police and Social Work Joint Investigative Interviewers. As a Social Worker within the JII Team you will be working jointly with police colleagues to develop a plan that will lead to a child-centred Joint Investigative Interview that secures the child's best evidence at the earliest opportunity and minimises the risk of further traumatisation. Applicants should have a sound understanding of the child protection process, from IRD to conclusion and how Joint Investigative Interviews inform this. Applicants should be trauma informed in their practice. It is a requirement of this post that candidates have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience. Hours:
