Join our team and be a part of the exciting energy industry! Our client, a leading company in the utilities sector, is looking for a talented Systems Analyst to join their dynamic and skilled team. With a focus on the security, resilience, and compliance of critical systems and networks, you will play a crucial role in driving the energy transition towards a net-zero future while ensuring security of supply today.


Role: Systems Analyst

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Blyth, Northumberland. (2 days in the office)

Rate: £600 per day (umbrella)


In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage Operational Technology (OT) and local IT at one of our client's Interconnector sites. You will work closely with site teams, system suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, system security, and resilience.


Responsibilities

Supporting the end-to-end delivery life cycle, from design and testing to deployment and incident resolution.

Collaborating with suppliers and site engineers to facilitate the successful delivery of changes and maintenance in a controlled and consistent manner.

Identifying risks and issues and implementing risk management controls to mitigate potential challenges.

Proactively seeking opportunities for service improvements and driving their implementation.

Supporting project activities by taking ownership of deliverables that contribute to technological development and process improvement.

Collaborating with site engineers, security specialists, and operators to update and maintain documentation, including asset registers and controls.


To excel in this role, an ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant work experience.

At least 3 years of experience working with Operational Technology or IT.

Experience in change management, risk management, stakeholder management, and supplier management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and work with diverse stakeholders.

A passion for learning new systems and supporting a team in delivering projects.
