Due to the continued growth and development of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D team, we have an exciting opportunity for a System Engineer at our Head Office in Basingstoke. The role As System Engineer, you will contribute to the full product development cycle from requirements capture, system level design, concept development, simulation, prototyping, verification, and production handover. You will also interface with project managers and other supporting functions to achieve company goals. Contributing to Risk Analysis (compliant with ISO-14971), definition of requirements and related test cases for products. Contributing to design reviews, assessments of change requests and CAPAs implementation. Contributing to the design control throughout the entire lifecycle of the products, from feasibility to maintenance and decommissioning. Owning assigned activities from definition to full completion within the planned schedule, in line with internal procedures and standards (e.g. ISO-13485). What are we looking for? To be considered for the System Engineer opportunity, you will have the following: Essential skills MSc in Mechanical, Electronic or Software Engineering BSc/BEng, with a proven track record applying System Engineering principles. Systems Engineering design experience, ideally within the medical device industry or other regulated industry. Experience with MDD/MDR. Breadth of understanding across other engineering domains, i.e. electrical, mechanical, software. Excellent knowledge of MBSE and other Systems Engineering principles, standards and best practices. Experience applying ISO-13485 and ISO-14971. Familiarity with requirements and verification management tools such as JAMA. Experience of designing products requiring combined mechanical, electronic and software components. A naturally inquisitive person and problem solver. A team player and be a positive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude. What can we offer you?
