System Engineer
System Engineer focuses on leading combat systems and/or autonomous systems engineering activities.
What the role involves
- Leading combat systems and/or autonomous systems engineering activities.
- Translate capability requirements into engineering and architectural solutions.
- Assess future maritime technologies including UxVs and autonomous platforms.
- Develop innovative approaches to sensing, connectivity and effect delivery.
- Evaluate disaggregated and modular combat capability concepts.
- Produce high-quality technical reports, recommendations and presentations.
Skills and requirements
- Disaggregated SENSE, DECIDE, CONNECT and EFFECT architectures.
- Large-scale maritime or shipbuilding programmes.
- Engage with cutting-edge defence technologies.
