Copello are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer with a focus on Electronic Testability Services. The role is a 6 month contract to work with a defence client in the Hertfordshire area.
The successful Systems Engineer will have the following experience: Define and document test equipment requirements Optimising testability of products through the full lifecycles Verification & validation of test coverage across current and future project and programmes, while aligning to industry standards. Plan and execute production test activities in conjunction with the production team Constant monitoring of performance metrics and provide improvements within efficiency and reliability Produce documentation for test equipment, procedures and strategies. The successful System Engineer will have the following skills and experience: Proven experience in electronic testability design and implementation, preferably in a production environment. Strong understanding of diagnostic systems, test coverage analysis, and production test equipment. Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, such as Automated Test Equipment (ATE), diagnostic software, and data analysis tools. Experience within the defence or electronic warfare sector. Due to the nature of the programme, candidates will require active SC clearance/or the ability to obtain SC clearance. The role will require the successful Systems Engineer to be on site 3/4 days a week in the Hertfordshire area. This position is outside of IR35 and is paying circa £55 per hour.
