Systems Reliability Engineer , you will be joining our Integration & Test “Systems Team” consisting of 12 Engineers located in Chennai, India and London, UK. The overall purpose of the role is to provide hands-on environment support for the entire Integration & Test Department. What you’ll do

Provide support to the Integration and Test teams across the various platforms, applications and technologies, liaising with internal and external teams where necessary. Investigate hardware, cabling, Video, RF and network issues. Collaborate on projects to design, implement, upgrade and maintain our test systems. Identify and make improvements to the test infrastructure and work to improve the test environments' availability and usability. Actively document, promote and share knowledge of our systems and tools. What you’ll bring

Practical experience of installation, configuration and maintenance of complex systems. Experience in diagnosing hardware, cabling, video, RF and IP network issues using appropriate test equipment. Familiarity with Broadcast Systems, DVB Transport Streams and end user equipment. Proven experience of providing first line technical support, documentation and skills transfer to a range of end users. Proficient in Linux and Windows Operating Systems, Databases and knowledge of building and working with end-to-end systems. Creative problem-solver with a knack for developing innovative solutions to complex challenges. Team overview

The team’s primary role is to support and maintain the Integration and Test Centre applications and infrastructure. The team provides specialist expertise in broadcast and video on demand technologies and supports the Test Teams who test and integrate software across the different Sky products.
