System Administrator

to join our team at our Wellingborough site. You will provide first line support to the operation in dealing with a range of system and process related issues. This is a full time; permanent position & working hours would be

either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday, 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm rotational shifts. Therefore, flexibilty is essential. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to

£32,000

per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: Support the operation with system issues and technical knowledge Escalate issues to correct teams, that cannot be resolved in-house Investigate ad-hoc issues and provide solutions Resolve queries highlighted from the operation and the customer Provide subject matter expertise to support Systems related projects. Complete and build new or one-off reports as required by the operation and the customer What you need to succeed at GXO : Previous experience with WMS systems, DLX knowledge would be an advantage SQL Query and report writing skills advantageous, but training will be provided Excellent organisational and time management skills High level of general IT knowledge this includes radio dataterminals, printers, PCs Effective communication skills, both written and verbal We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
