About the Role

As a Systems Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our growing SysAdmin team, collaborating closely with the team and other departments to drive an ‘automation-first’ approach across the business. Your primary responsibility will be to identify operational and process inefficiencies that can be improved through automation. You will propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and output quality, while overseeing the rollout and adoption by relevant teams. This role requires a strong understanding of modern automation tools, scripting, and systems integration, along with excellent collaboration and communication skills to take ownership of these optimised workflows. Responsibilities

Work across departments to identify, design, propose and implement automation for new and existing operations Proactively work with the relevantteams to align automation efforts with business needs Implement and maintain solutions as code using version control to ensure configuration consistency Take ownership of the existing automation for product deployments and ensure scalability and consistency between environments while allowing for client specific customisations Automate and maintain several custom and standard flavours of OS to be rolled out to VMWare, OpenNebula and MaaS Work closely with the SysAdmin and Security team to support automation efforts for system maintenance and security Provide documentation and training to ensure smooth adoption of automation solutions Required Experience

Ansible Packer Scripting (Bash, Python and Powershell) Linux Git Power Automate Strong communication and teamwork abilities Desirable Experience

Windows Terraform Atlassian Server Virtualisation MaaS Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices. Experience with Agile methodologies System Administration Experience What we offer
