£48,000 - £51,000 - 2 days per week from East London offices (2 sites), the rest remote Our East London based client is looking to hire a permanent Systems Control Officer to be the organization's lead technical subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion modules and to ensure the best value from Oracle Fusion. Key purpose of the Systems Control Officer - Oracle Fusion

To be the lead technical subject matter expert for a specific Oracle Fusion module/s, ensuring that the organization obtains best value from Oracle Fusion, driving efficiencies and benefits through system functionality adoption. To advise and guide senior management and users in the application of Oracle Fusion functionality, including regular updates, to direct and influence strategy, system use, and adoption. To ensure that the advice and guidance from 3rd party suppliers in relation to specific Oracle Fusion modules is understood, verified, and adopted to meet business requirements and budgets. To operate as the Oracle Fusion technical lead for related projects and changes for a specific module/s. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system project deliverables are met. To design and configure a specific Oracle Fusion module/s in the live environment. To engage in Agile development practices and meetings as well as good test and release practices for the continual development of Oracle Fusion. To ensure specific Oracle Fusion modules remain available and operational to support the delivery of operations, through resolution of technical faults and effective release management. To mentor, develop, and train other system staff and functional area system users in the best use of specific Oracle Fusion modules. Support and advise on good data management practices and principles in the adoption of Oracle Fusion processes. Key duties for the Systems Control Officer - Oracle Fusion

Review system configuration and recommend changes to maintain system availability, security, integrity, and best practice. Review system configuration and use to highlight gaps in system adoption and identify potential opportunities for improved use of Fusion. Configure Oracle Fusion for system adoption while meeting business and functional process requirements. Understand and interpret business requirements from non-technical staff, to create and implement solutions within Oracle Fusion that meet business requirements. Undertake root cause analysis of incidents and problems, to resolve complex technical issues to recover and resume operational service for functional areas. Interact with support partners, 3rd parties, and Oracle, raising calls and attending meetings as required, to resolve complex technical issues. Review Oracle Fusion release notes to identify compulsory and optional system changes, advising on system adoption and taking into account current processes. Review Oracle release notes against backlog, to highlight and align future changes to Fusion that will meet requirements raised in the backlog. Utilise Azure DevOps (or an alternative) to manage system development backlog and actively engage in Agile development practices, including refinement sessions, sprints, retrospectives, and other meetings. Undertake system integration testing, support UAT processes, and functional representatives in the completion of testing. Create and deploy reports using OBIE, MS SQL, and other reporting tools. Work with Business Analysts and functional representatives to map As Is business processes, identify improvements, and map To Be processes, applying system knowledge to verify To Be processes will work effectively, highlighting any dependencies. Communicate and present to management on improvement and efficiency opportunities driven by system changes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle systems and market trends. Understand and apply corporate information governance policies in system design and use.
