- £59,000 - Hybrid (London, Durham, Lytham or Glasgow)

The Opportunity Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team are working closely with a really interesting Civil Service organisation that works to support everyone with managing their money.

They are looking for an experienced System Delivery Lead who will work closely with the Enterprise Architecture group to translate their High-Level requirements into low level designs, providing governance and assurance while working with third parties.

What the System Delivery Lead will be doing You will be working with the Head of IT and the Enterprise Architecture team to understand high level designs and support with the creation of effective designs and assurance of said designs.

Implement and refine low level design assurance and review systems, creating transparent guidelines for 3rd party suppliers. Understand the bigger design picture, reviewing change requests to ensure low level design is fit for purpose. Identify and communicate any design deviations - working with supply partners to create option papers. Run the system assurance capability, reviewing designs and design objects created by third parties.

What the successful System Delivery Lead will bring to the team You will have strong experience of designing and architecting solutions, understanding high level requirements and translating them into low level design requirements, and building assurances for these.

Demonstrable knowledge of software applications, programming languages and IT infrastructure. Clear experience working as an architect or designer or SME - with exposure to payments or banking, as well as cloud experience. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of IT security best practices. Ability to design and implement complex IT solutions.
