Your new company and role This American company, renowned for its luxury housewares design and innovation, is embarking on a five-year expansion plan throughout the EMEA region. As a System Developer, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Senior Systems Developer. Your responsibilities will include database management, business intelligence, systems integration, troubleshooting, and documentation. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimisation of our technology systems. The role is based at our office in Goring-on-Thames. Key Responsibilities

Database Support: Maintain and optimise SQL Server databases. Support data integrity and manage backups. Implement database security measures. Business Intelligence & Reporting: Develop Power BI reports and dashboards. Consolidate data for business insights. Refine reporting requirements with stakeholders. Systems Development & Integration: Integrate Sage 200 and other systems. Develop scripts and tools for automation. Manage data platforms for business operations. Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve system issues promptly. Provide technical support to end-users. Conduct root cause analysis and propose solutions. Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain system documentation. Develop best practices for system maintenance. Identify and propose efficiency improvements. Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience. 1-2 years of experience or relevant internships in systems development or database management. Familiarity with SQL Server and basic query development. Exposure to business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI). Basic understanding of ERP systems like Sage 200. Strong organisational and documentation skills. Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn. Technical Skills:

Foundational knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, or related programming languages. Basic familiarity with data visualisation tools like Power BI. Understanding of system integration and automation concepts. What you need to do now
