Systems Engineer Autonomous Retrofit Systems

We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to take ownership of the systems definition and development for our retrofit autonomous systems. In this critical role, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements and industry standards. Success in this role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineering, project management, applications engineering, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the design and development of innovative off-highway autonomous test equipment systems, taking them through to production. Implement redundancy strategies to enhance system robustness and reliability. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document system requirements, ensuring clarity in functionality, performance, and safety criteria. Work closely with the Project Management team to plan, prioritize, allocate resources, and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including functional, performance, and safety testing, to validate system behavior under varying conditions. Create detailed technical documentation for system requirements, design specifications, and test plans.

What We're Looking For

A strong technical background, ideally with an Engineering Degree or a related field. Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies, such as SysML and requirements traceability. Familiarity with automotive standards, protocols, and test methodologies (highly desirable). Solid project management skills with proven ability to lead and coordinate multifunctional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems effectively.
