Grangemouth (Site/office based) About the Role

The key requirements of this role are to: Lead DCS upgrades across all FPS assets Work closely with operations, process engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute projects Provide ops support during TAR’s, commissioning, start-up, and routine operations Manage maintenance, security and availability ensuring compliance with industry standards with a focus on 61511, 61508 & 62443 Participate in risk assessments and baseline audits to ensure robust cybersecurity practices are implemented and maintained Manage asset DCS & security projects: Work with vendors to execute projects managing requirements specs, budgets, testing and handover. Execute engineering and configuration level 1 systems: PLC’s, Advanced Control, Optimisation, HMI, Router, Switch & Firewall configuration Lead OT Admin activities for active directory, servers, workstations, historians, on Prem cloud, applications & database management. Ineos 20P - Responsible for maintaining the asset and protective systems integrity What Does the Day to Day Look Like?

Work closely and integrate with the FPS Automation team to support operations and respond to emergent issues Job responsible engineer for management of change, writing specifications, driving risk assessments and executing all aspects of asset modifications Supporting others in the teams to deliver projects across all assets Respond to emergent requests from operations and process engineers to implement control system modifications, alarm management and HMI improvements Take part in planning activities to manage resource and budgets to deliver projects with other disciplines and plan activities with vendors Attend regular meetings with operations & projects teams to plan resource and vendor effort Analyse daily and weekly integrity reports with follow up remediation and repair work Analyse existing cyber security strategies/controls and assess their effectiveness Carry out security maintenance: monitoring system health, checking automated backup systems including response and recovery systems What Do I Need?

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control, or Process Engineering (or equivalent). Proven experience with Distributed Control Systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, Cisco). Strong knowledge of control system design, programming, and integration. Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, OPC). Experience with safety instrumented systems and functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508/61511). Experience with server/ workstation build & configuration, virtual environments, database management Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for industrial control systems (IEC62443). Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Experience in industries such as oil & gas, power generation, or manufacturing About Us
