Description Systems Engineer Looking for an opportunity to make an impact? The Role We are seeking an

experienced Systems Engineer

with

IT expertise

to support a

Government Critical National Infrastructure

project. The role involves designing and maintaining complex systems that align with business goals, using established industry frameworks. The candidate should have a blend of

technical and strategic understanding

to develop systems that meet technical needs while driving broader business goals: Provide

multi-domain expertise

across technical solutions and business strategy Be proficient in industry standard

enterprise architecture frameworks Be at ease operating from technical to the business layers, bridging

technical requirements

and

business objectives Ensure system solutions are aligned with structured architecture frameworks What will I be doing Consulting with stakeholders, suppliers, and architects to refine system requirements and ensure business alignment. Model and advise on system architecture using systems engineering and industry frameworks. Guide and develop system design and specification development, ensuring compliance with security and safety standards. Oversee requirement management, technical validation, and compliance assessments. Facilitate technical reviews, provide strategic consulting to optimize solutions, and manage risks. Engage with clients and regulatory bodies, offering expert engineering solutions and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure configuration management and provide technical oversight on project progress and system performance. What Leidos needs from me Extensive experience in

defence ,

security , or

safety-critical systems . Excellent

customer-facing skills

and requirement analysis. Strong collaboration with

stakeholders

and

suppliers . Skilled in developing

text-based

and

model-based requirements . Successful track record in

mission-critical systems integration . Proficient in

systems modelling

using established systems engineering tools and industry standards Expertise in modelling

system behaviours , interfaces, and requirements. Knowledge of designing systems in

public cloud environments . You will be successful if you also have the following: Positive mindset Capability to thrive in a multicultural setting Excellent interpersonal abilities Meticulous attention to detail Ability to adhere to deadlines

Clearance Requirements:

Successful applicants will be required to hold and maintain UK Security Clearances.
