We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for the UK's most critical maritime defence programs. Role Overview:

As a key member of our Systems Engineering (SE) team, you will contribute to the full project lifecycle—concept to in-service—of advanced integrated maritime systems. Your work will directly support the operational effectiveness of the Royal Navy's premier assets. This is an exciting opportunity to hone your expertise while driving cutting-edge solutions in multi-domain command and control systems. Key Responsibilities:

Execute Systems Engineering activities across all phases of the project lifecycle. Implement and maintain Systems Engineering processes. Support or lead technical stakeholder reviews. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery. Uphold company standards of conduct in all deliverables. Skills and Experience Required:

Solid understanding and experience with Systems Engineering models, methodologies, and lifecycle planning. Proficiency in requirements development, design, integration, and acceptance processes. Strong educational foundation: Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems, Software, or Hardware Engineering. Practical knowledge of Systems Engineering frameworks (aligned with ISO 15288/INCOSE). Exceptional teamwork, communication, and technical writing skills. Analytical mindset with strong systems thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proactive, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering results. Desirable Skills (or Willingness to Learn):

Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Enterprise Architect). Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., SysML, UML, TOGAF). Agile project experience, particularly using Scrum frameworks. Understanding of marine electronic equipment and the marine environment. Awareness of military environmental standards (e.g., DEF STAN 00-35, 59-411). Knowledge of safety-critical systems (SIL 2/3). INCOSE Associate or Chartered Systems Engineering Professional certification.
