We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled General Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will involve a broad range of systems engineering tasks, including the design, implementation, and testing of various systems and components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, especially in documentation and trial preparation. The position will include responsibilities such as conducting and preparing reports for various trials, data gathering, analysis, and documentation of results.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and Prepare Reports for Equipment and Trial Preparation: Support the preparation and execution of mechanical pre-flight trials, ESS trials, and other qualification trials, ensuring that all systems are fully prepared and aligned with required standards. Mechanical Pre-Flight Trial: Assist in the planning and preparation of mechanical pre-flight trials. Support the planning, execution, and reporting of mechanical pre-qualification trials to ensure systems meet the necessary criteria for operational use. Prepare detailed reports documenting results, observations, and recommended actions. Mechanical Qualification Trials: Conduct mechanical qualification trials, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. Prepare detailed reports to document trial results and provide insights for future improvements. ESS Trials: Lead the execution of Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) trials, ensuring thorough testing, data collection, and documentation. Test and Configuration Reporting: Gather data, conduct data analysis, and create reports for legacy Test and Configuration Reports (TCR). Ensure accurate and timely publication of all documentation related to legacy TCR reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Skills (Essential): Experience with environmental testing, including temperature, vibration, and humidity assessments. Strong knowledge of requirements, system design, integration and systems testing, and validation processes. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Product safety and risk assessment methodologies. Desirable Skills (Optional): Familiarity with qualification activities such as Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Radio Frequency (RF) testing, and Safety compliance. Why work with us?
