Systems Engineer

£47,000 - £52,000 Clearance:
Due to the nature of the role & the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve Enhanced UK SC clearance. Day to day you'll be: Helping to develop concepts for Future of Combat Air System (FCAS) Leading or supporting technical studies to inform system requirements, architecture, concepts Supporting assessment of system concepts e.g., technical viability, adaptability, interoperability Attending/leading meetings and workshops to progress studies Contributing your expertise to understanding of risks, assumptions, and dependencies Attending planning and coordination meetings and reporting on your work Experience we are looking for: You will be degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle You will have experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets Experience in an engineering integration environment You will be a good communicator at all levels of an organisation with the ability to forge partnerships with internal and external customers It would be advantageous if you had: Experience of structured tool sets such as MooD and Cameo Experience to coordinate and manage programmes
