As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Satellite Technology, you will be integral to designing, developing, and optimizing advanced satellite systems. Working in a supportive, collaborative environment, you’ll engage with international customers to deliver state-of-the-art solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and define comprehensive system, sub-system, product, and software requirements, specifications, and interface definitions.

Conduct payload design trade-offs to ensure optimal system performance.

Analyze and translate system-level performance requirements into detailed subsystem and component specifications.

Support business development by contributing to proposals and engaging in multiple payload programs.

Lead technical negotiations with customers and engineers to align on specifications and resolve any discrepancies.

Design systems that meet rigorous standards, and innovate solutions when challenges arise.

Provide operational support for in-orbit satellite systems, ensuring their ongoing performance and success.

Required Qualifications:

MSc or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Extensive experience in developing and analyzing technical requirements, conducting trade studies, and leading major design reviews (EQSR, PDR, CDR, DRB).

Proven ability to write and respond to proposals and RFIs, including the development of technical presentations.

Strong expertise in satellite communications technologies, with a deep understanding of phased array antennas, digital processing, DVBS2X standards, beam hopping, and link budgets.

Significant experience in end-to-end satellite communications payload design.

Advanced knowledge of radio frequency communications and associated technologies, including RF, phased array antennas, and digital signal processing.
