On offer is a rare opportunity to work for a world leader in LabVIEW technology where you can travel to work on some of the most exciting projects in the UK. They are looking for someone who wants to utilize their Systems Engineer experience in a business that offers a framework for future progression. This position is key to the success of the R&D function, and the appointed Systems Engineer will join a team of likeminded individuals who will support clients face-to-face and virtually depending on the nature of the projects. You can expect to be implementing and maintaining hardware and software in the design stage and assisting in equipment design, build, debug, and commissioning when products are in production. The ideal candidate will possess a good working knowledge of LabVIEW and have experience in designing test equipment and assembling and fault-finding new test equipment during commissioning.
Responsibilities:
Assist in equipment troubleshooting to reduce downtime and improve FTT. LabVIEW, TestStand, writing or modifying test software and automated tests. Support the R&D team in the implementation and commissioning of systems. Travel to sites throughout the UK.
Skills:
Working knowledge with LabVIEW, TestStand, and writing test software & automated tests. Willingness to travel for work. Good design skills alongside practical skills. A commitment to self-development.
