Primary Purpose of the Role:

The M-SET team are looking for a Systems Engineer to be involved in the transformation of the Systems Engineering workstream. The work required is focused around requirements management, working closely with the M-SET PDA to derive customer and internal requirements, monitor compliance and generate metrics for internal and external reporting as well as assisting with the transition from DOORs to Polarion.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Requirements management of customer and internal requirements.

Derivation and flow down of requirements to lower levels.

Requesting and assisting with the compliance reporting from lower levels.

Reporting compliance and generating metrics for top level internal and external use.

Migration from DOORs to Polarion tooling.

Creating and defining new processes to aid in Systems Engineering activities.

Skills – Essential:

DOORS/Polarion

Systems Engineering and System Design – ability to write design documentation

Self-starter – able to take a task and run with it with minimal supervision

Word, Excel

Experience – Essential:

Systems Engineering

Design, testing

Documentation

IVVQ

Requirements Engineering

Experience – Desirable:

In-Service Support contracts

Working with UK Royal Navy & MoD.

MoD documentation.

Software Design
