Salary: £37,000 to £45,000 plus bonus of circa 10% Description
We are currently looking to recruit a Systems Engineer to join our team in the Leeds office. You will ensure the smooth running of our server and storage infrastructure within the 3rd line support team, with primary responsibility for the support, administration, and maintenance of server and storage infrastructure. Key Responsibilities include:
Actively contribute to the design and implementation of all Server & Storage infrastructure, owning the documentation for these systems. Plan upgrades, updates, and migrations of Server & Storage infrastructure where necessary. Ensure system configuration and data is backed up as per the backup policy. Ensure adherence to appropriate ITIL and Prince2 processes and ISO operating procedures. Key Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
Implementing and administering server operating systems including Microsoft Windows 2008 / 2012. Experience of working in an ITIL environment and managing successful projects. Implementing and administering VMware environments (vSphere 5.x, vCentre). Experience of enterprise monitoring solutions. Implementing and administering HP servers/blades and Hitachi (HUS) storage hardware or similar experience in other vendors' technology. Job Type:
