In this position, you will have the opportunity to ensure a clear strategic plan is produced and executed, understanding and assessing our Torpedo Launcher System product fit with the current and future markets. You will be responsible for ensuring on-time Project, Product and Capability delivery is in line with agreed budgets for both direct & indirect staff. Ensuring a clear strategic plan is produced and executed, ensuring the accessible market is clearly articulated and appropriate resources, capability enhancements and relevant capture activities are implemented, in the agreed timescale. Understanding and assessing our product fit with the current and future markets to produce the annual Private Venture (PV) investment requirements and business case, which means our TLS Products meet the needs of multiple customers. Ensuring on-time Project, Product and Capability delivery, in line with agreed budgets for both direct & indirect staff. Ensuring excellent internal and external relationships are established and maintained across all areas of responsibility. Working closely with the Head of Maritime Support & Services to ensure seamless handover to support.
The skills you need
Experience leading a Business Area, delivering complex projects throughout an engineering lifecycle in a defence environment. Product roadmap development. Ability to demonstrate Risk Opportunity and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience. Experience in business development. You must be eligible for SC Clearance.
