Our Opportunity:

This full-time Systems IVVQ Engineer shall be working on various projects within the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) business. They will perform the IVVQ activities for the assigned projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Demonstration that the solution satisfies the overall approved operational needs set out by the customer.

Test and Integration

Test Specification Writing

Test execution

Problem investigation

What are we looking for?

Skills:

An understanding of System Engineering and System Engineering Processes and Practices, including knowledge of Systems Lifecycles.

An ability to work with combinations of technologies, to integrate and verify them in a logical and structured way into a system in order to fully satisfy a Customer’s requirement.

Able to develop and establish collaborative ways of working with multiple stakeholders and disciplines to establish a system-centric way of working.

Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to present and explain technical and complex problems, tailored appropriately for the audience.

A team player with a “can-do” attitude that performs effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Eligibility to be security cleared to SC.

Experience:

Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (BEng, BSc) in a Numerate, Scientific or Engineering subject or Higher Education/equivalent training and experience.

Proven working experience in requirements management using DOORS.

Proven experience working in and/or leading a team undergoing Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) of a solution/product.

Detailed working knowledge of the engineering lifecycle, from concept design, requirements capture and management, system and subsystem design, system integration, through to test strategies, acceptance and design update.

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.

To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
