Bilfinger are currently looking for a system lead/manager to lead an existing team on site. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a proven track record of fostering a positive, supportive environment whilst ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Main Responsibilities

Management and organisation of the systems team ensuring competence of all personnel and efficiency in completion of works Promote safety as a priority and ensure all team members carry out works in a safe manner, in line with procedures and work instructions Sound knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) and Instrumentation – C&I Background preferred Working closely with client system team to ensure programme aligns with the overall project system strategy Liaising with client and other Bilfinger departments to resolve issues, request required changes, communicate updates etc Take ownership of blockers and utilise effective problem-solving skills to resolve in a timely manner Take ownership of the system delivery programme, carry out regular reviews and updates to achieve on-time delivery of all commissioning milestones Ensure system procedures are followed and all documentation maintained to project handover Able to assess and highlight risks to system works/milestones and work with the project team to mitigate/resolve Provide technical review and sign off on required commissioning documentation Review all RFC (Ready for Commissioning) documentation, to confirm safe transition from Construction to Commissioning and system phase Review, amend and approve commissioning procedures Fostering a positive work environment and ensuring morale is maintained through the team Experience & Qualifications

Appropriate qualification in a relevant engineering discipline; Degree/ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent experience Extensive knowledge and experience of the process of commissioning in a multi-discipline, safety-critical environment Experience in Nuclear, or other highly regulated industry Excellent H&S awareness Excellent communication & team leadership skills CSCS card – essential Ability to attain SC Clearance If you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact 01224 246246.
