The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a special needs focus to work as part of our SEN team within school.
You will be expected to:
Support our pupils with their SEN and actively engage in the delivery of academic work with specific direction from the class teacher and SENDCo.
Support children’s needs during break and lunchtimes.
Have high expectations and provide positive behaviour management.
Have a sense of fun and work well as part of a team.
Have the ability to be flexible in approach and adapt as required.
It would be desirable to have:
Experience of working with children who have Special Educational Needs and/or a disability (SEND).
The role is term time only plus 5 TED days.
