We have a fantastic opportunity for a Taillift Fitter.

As a Tail Lift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and installation of tail lifts for various vehicles. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all tail lift systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the overall performance and reliability of the vehicles we service.

Tail Lift Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain tail lift systems on a variety of vehicles. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on tail lifts. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and resolve them efficiently. Install new tail lift systems and components as required. Collaborate with other workshop staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to tail lift technology.

Tail Lift Engineer Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Tail Lift Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to tail lifts. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and repair manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive repair or mechanics are a plus. A valid driver's license.

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Pay:

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
