Thames Hospice is an independent hospice based at Bray Lake, Maidenhead. Proudly serving our community for more than 36 years, we provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care as well as vital support for patients' families. We are excited to have opened a brand-new Thames Hospice charity superstore in Reading which serves as a retail hub for furniture, homewares, fashion, and an upcycling studio with a repair workshop, a distribution centre for donated goods, a dedicated coffee shop, and a hospitality space to rent for meetings.

Position Overview

Thames Hospice is looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Tailoring & Alterations Assistant to work in our new superstore. You will have a commercial mind supporting the Tailoring & Alterations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Tailoring and Alterations department, bringing in new ideas to help drive the department and to be able to advise and assist with a range of customer enquiries and alterations. Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised person with a passion for reducing waste and maximising opportunities. If you have experience in tailoring/alteration with knowledge of creating items from recycled fabrics/materials and are up for a challenge, this is the role for you! Benefits
