Talent Acquisition Consultant Albany Beck is a professional services business dedicated to delivering impactful solutions for our clients’ most critical projects. We partner with leading organisations across Insurance, Financial Services, and the Public Sector, helping them overcome complex challenges and drive success. We are ~300 FTE strong and are experts at driving transformation initiatives in technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. We are currently hiring for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of key client projects by ensuring the successful hiring of exceptional talent for our Practitioner and Pioneer Programmes. This position focuses on identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier professionals who embody our core values and are essential to driving the success of our business. Responsibilities include: Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:

Proactively identify, source, and attract junior and practitioner-level professionals across Technology, Change, Operations, and Compliance disciplines. Candidate Engagement and Retention:

Build strong relationships with candidates, ensuring seamless onboarding and providing ongoing post-placement care to support retention. Stakeholder Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process. Market Research and Insights:

Conduct thorough market research, leveraging sourcing tools, talent engagement, and online research to stay informed on industry trends and talent availability. Vacancy Qualification and Consultation:

Lead vacancy briefing calls and meetings, advising hiring managers on best practices and aligning strategies with business goals. Workload and Project Management:

Manage projects by setting clear timelines, establishing SLAs with stakeholders, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service. Training and Development:

Participate in and deliver training workshops, enhancing talent acquisition skills and knowledge within the team through upskilling and refresher sessions. Required skills: Substantial experience in successfully recruiting talent within Technology, Operational and Compliance type roles, working through the full talent acquisition lifecycle: Role qualification, stakeholder management, advertising and talent attraction, talent sourcing and identification, candidate qualification, offer negotiation, post-candidate care Previous experience working with hiring managers directly (both face-to-face and telephone), have a proven ability to consult, influence and drive the process through to a win for all parties. Knowledge of advanced questioning techniques and understand how to discover candidate and client’s true motivations and reasoning. Demonstrable experience in providing ‘market research’ providing clients with insights, trends and possible solutions. Experience in successfully managing and completing a high volume of requirements through to placement simultaneously (e.g. 5-10 roles).
