We are looking for resourcing professionals with experience in the

Utilities, Engineering, and/or Construction

industries, as this expertise is crucial for success from the outset. We are seeking individuals who are well-versed in the role and bring the following skills: Strategic Business Partnering : Collaborate closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and HRBPs to understand the business landscape and identify external talent pools. You’ll be a trusted partner, working alongside key stakeholders to elevate the talent acquisition strategy. EVP : Shape the talent acquisition process to position OCU Group as an employer of choice, promoting diversity and inclusion in every hire. Subject Matter Expert : Lead impactful briefing sessions with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop standout sourcing strategies, and identify opportunities to enhance the team with fresh talent. Use your market insight to stay ahead of talent availability trends. Innovative Sourcing & Candidate Engagement : Master the ATS (TeamTailor) and manage a diverse pipeline of active and passive candidates aligned with their goals. Engage with external talent through proactive outreach and platforms like LinkedIn to build and maintain a strong pipeline. Build Partnerships : Develop strong relationships with agencies and referral channels to create a steady stream of high-quality candidates. Process Management : Serve as the voice of the brand, guiding candidates through every stage of the recruitment process. You will own the approval, sourcing, and interview processes, ensuring each step aligns with business guidelines, policies, and expectations. You will need to be an independent worker, able to anticipate challenges, apply sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. A proven track record of headhunting niche and top-tier talent within the

Utilities, Engineering, and/or Construction

industries, along with expertise in platforms like LinkedIn and Boolean search techniques, will be key to your success. Additional skills and experience that would enhance your application include: Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management : You thrive in a high-performance culture. Analytical expertise : You can interpret data from multiple sources and transform it into actionable insights. Expert knowledge of talent acquisition best practices : You also possess a strong awareness of risk and compliance requirements. Unwavering customer service focus : You take an agile, proactive approach to solving challenges. A resilient, positive attitude : You have a proven track record of delivering results under pressure. Please note: Due to the nature of this role, a valid UK driving licence is required, along with the ability and willingness to travel (within defined parameters). Our offices are located across the UK, so we are flexible regarding your preferred base location, with options including Stockport, Borehamwood, Scotland, or the South West/Wales.
