We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join a law firm in Manchester for their new Talent Acquisition Specialist position. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies and initiatives to ensure the company has access to the best talent. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive candidate experience, providing guidance to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities : Create and update job descriptions, maintaining an up-to-date library of roles within the organisation. Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring cost-effective and efficient talent solutions. Take ownership of the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, working closely with recruiting managers on each vacancy to shortlist candidates and conduct initial screening interviews where required. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the legal field. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Qualifications & Experience : Previous experience in talent acquisition in the legal industry. Strong background in managing agency relationships and direct hiring initiatives. Knowledge of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion best practice in talent acquisition. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously. Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
