We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated Talent and Recruitment Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This is a temporary fixed term role, for 18 months which focuses on overseeing the operational management of the council’s contingent workforce, with a strong emphasis on agency legislation and driving cost savings. Key Responsibilities:

As the Talent and Recruitment Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in managing the council’s contingent workforce. You will demonstrate your expertise in contract management, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with employment law relating to agency workers and contractors. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge and make a significant impact. Contract and Compliance Management:

Use your in-depth knowledge of agency worker legislation and contract management to ensure the smooth operation of the council’s recruitment process. Cost Optimisation:

Leverage your strong analytical skills to monitor agency spend, collaborating with managers to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders such as Finance, Procurement, and managers, as well as external suppliers, fostering collaboration and delivering results. About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need: Proven experience in HR services management, particularly with external agencies and procurement processes. Strong knowledge of employment law, particularly in relation to agency workers and contractors. Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor, review, and reduce agency spend effectively. A proactive and self-driven approach, with excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships at all levels. A commitment to delivering outstanding results and driving efficiencies within a fast-paced environment.
